revealing the design potential of recycled paper
Throughout the Papermix project, the atelier is exploring how papermaking craft can evolve into a building technique for creating both decorative and functional objects.
Papermaking, as a recycling practice, enables the studio to explore transforming domestic waste into rich material and color palettes. These serve as the foundation for the making of modules assembled during drying.
The studio shares this process through collaborative workshops—held in museums, schools, and events—using specially designed pedagogical tools and methods (see Papermix workshops page). Their work and workshop outcomes have been exhibited at multiple venues.
