Mid-way between a scientific experiment and an artistic research, the Colorwood workshop proposed to explore an unusual way to color wood : by capillary action. 

Inspired by the wood’s structure which is designed to carry the sap from roots to branches, the technique of colouring allow colours to circulate inside the material.  Participants can play with parameters to influence the colouring process : multiple baths, duration of the bathing, size of the shape,…
The results are composed together in an open-end game.
